Does it edit my theme?

No. It runs inside Shopify Admin.

Does it automatically discount products?

No. It only suggests markdowns for merchant review.

Does it change prices or archive products?

No. MVP does not change prices, archive products, or modify inventory.

Why does it need order access?

To calculate recent product and variant sales activity from order line items.

Does it store customer data?

It does not request customer identity fields; it stores only aggregated variant-level sales counts.

Can it analyze older than 60 days?

MVP uses Shopify's default recent order access. Longer windows require accumulated app data over time or additional Shopify approval.

Can I export lists?

Yes. Filtered dead stock and campaign lists can be exported to CSV.

Can I use unit cost?

If Shopify returns unit cost and the merchant has access, the app can estimate cost value; otherwise retail value is used.
